(2) Responsible technicians who have acquired more than 35 hours or more than 90 credits according to the credit recognition standards announced by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport are deemed to have completed continuing education.

(Previous Supervisor) General Continuing Education Beginner/Expanded Construction Engineer, 35 hours or more, before the period of performing construction project management has elapsed every 3 years. However, if an employee has recently completed promotion education, the period of performance of duties is calculated based on the completion date.
More than 70 hours of advanced/special construction technology
More than 16 hours of safety management continuing education for construction engineers who perform safety management tasks during construction project management
Quality Management

(Former quality manager) Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Special construction technicians who have performed quality control work for 35 hours or more before every 3 years have elapsed. However, if an employee has recently completed promotion education, the period of performance of duties is calculated based on the completion date.
Criteria for Calculation of Work Period
– Design and construction engineer: On-site placement engineer or responsible engineer notified by the Construction Industry Knowledge Information System (KISCON) and the Korea Construction Technology Management Association
– Construction project management engineer: Construction project management tasks notified by the Korea Construction Technology Management Association (including construction engineers who performed safety management tasks)
– Quality management engineer: Responsible work reported to the Korea Construction Engineers Association
Acquisition of 90 or more credits according to the credit recognition standards announced by the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport

Transitional Measures Regarding Education and Training
Construction engineers who have received education and training in accordance with [Appendix 3] of the Construction Technology Promotion Act are recognized for education and training.

* Construction engineers whose completion period for continuing education has arrived before this Decree takes effect (August 1, 2020) may complete education and training according to the previous regulations despite the amended regulations. As the COVID-19 infectious disease crisis alert has been upgraded to a serious level,
In accordance with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport policy, the one-day group education is replaced with additional Internet education.
Until the COVID-19 situation subsides, additional online training will be conducted temporarily instead of on-site collective training.
(*First of all, the group education in March will be replaced with additional internet education, and may change depending on the situation of Corona 19)
After taking the 28-hour online training, you must apply for the 7-hour additional training to participate in the additional internet training and online evaluation.
The date of completion is the date of application for 7 hours of additional training.
100% of the additional internet education + taking the online evaluation (score of 60 or more) is required to complete the course.
It will take 3 to 4 weeks based on the completion date to confirm the completion details of the association, and if you are in a hurry, you can directly notify each career entrusted institution (Construction Engineers Association, Architects Association, etc.).
